WSOP Final Is Dream Come True For Young Poker Star

Joseph Cada is hoping to become the youngest-ever winner of the World Series of Poker.

The forthcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) final marks a dream come true for the man hoping to become the event's youngest-ever champion.

Joseph Cada, the 21-year-old pro who learnt the skills of the game from playing "over a million hands" of online poker, said that he has been waiting to hit the competition's final table since he turned 18.

Speaking to the Southtown Star, he said: "I waited three years to play in this tournament. It was something I always wanted to do."

Cada has clearly been chomping at the bit to get on with the WSOP final, but has had to keep it to the back of his mind throughout a four-month break in play.

But the competition will restart on Saturday 9th November at Las Vegas' Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Each of the nine players to have made the final table is guaranteed to walk away a millionaire, but Cada has his sights set firmly on the $8.5 million (C$8.6 million) first prize and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

He will face stiff competition from the likes of Phil 'Poison' Ivey, who won his first WSOP event back in 2000.ADNFCR-2648-ID-19444630-ADNFCR
