No Truth To Craps Superstitions, Says Expert

Casino fans across Canada have been told that while superstitions surrounding craps games are worth learning, they should largely be ignored.

Frank Scoblete, a gaming guru at Casino City Times, has said that as most superstitions are adhered to it is worth taking the time to learn them.

However, he added that as many players invent their own superstitions, it is worth ignoring what many people shout out from around the table.

In particular, he urged players to not put any faith in the notion that if the dealer passes the dice to a player with the seven showing then the seven will be rolled soon.
"Because the seven comes up about 17 percent of the time, any idea will show some validity because it will happen enough times to make it seem real," he explained.

"I could say, 'If you touch your nose while a shooter is rolling the seven will come up.' That has as much a chance as the dealer passing you the dice with the seven showing. You can't hide from the math of the game and the "seven superstitions" on the part of many shooters concerning that "evil number" have no truth but a lot of believers."
