As part of its October prize draw, the Stellaris Casino has awarded one of its bingo players with a cash prize.

The Stellaris Casino in Aruba has announced that one of its bingo players has won $500 (C$531) as part of a monthly competition.

Marion Tromp-Antersijn was named as the Marriott-owned resort's Bingo Hot Shot for the month of October 2009.

As well as receiving the cash prize, Mrs Tromp-Antersijn also won a dinner for two at the company's Champions Sports Bar and Restaurant, plus two free bingo cards which she can use in November.

She won the prize after her name was picked out in a raffle by hotel management.

The bingo win was just one of a number of prizes handed out by the Stellaris Casino at the end of October. Eric Croes had the biggest success of the month, landing a brand new Kia Soul car worth more than 50,000 Aruba guilders (C$29,678).

A number of other cash prizes were awarded, with Altagracia Maduro and Marisa Tromp each claiming 1,000 Aruba guilders.

The Stellaris is the largest casino on the island of Aruba. Open 24 hours every day, it has 28 gaming tables and also features 522 slot machines.
